terrestris is participating in the project “Integrated Water Resources Management: Model Region Mongolia (MoMo)” which is being funded by the BMBF. On September 26 and 27, 2017, a so-called transfer conference will take place in Ulan Bator, during which a delegation of the sponsor from Germany and many guests from Asian countries are expected.
On the occasion of the 2 workshop days, there will be a discussion on how the results of MoMo can be implemented in Mongolia and other Asian countries. The geoportal (Picture see appendix), in which all relevant data was collected, plays a central role in the integrated water resources management in Mongolia. Maps are created in the geoportal that are then made available in an open ring binder as an atlas or as a management plan.
This concept enables an easy updating mechanism of the individual contents. From next week onwards, there will be more information about the activities in Mongolia.
