The 11th Career and Internship Fair took place on May 2, 2018, at the Geographical Institute of the University of Bonn.

The aim of this year’s event was to enable students to make initial personal contacts for internships, final theses, and career entry. In addition, students were able to get a first impression of the professional field of geography.

At the beginning of the event, there was a panel discussion in which various career paths for geographers were presented. Torsten Brassat, Managing Director of terrestris, gave the students many practical tips concerning career entry. Afterwards, Torsten Brassat was available to advise and assist the students throughout the event and was able to answer many questions about everyday working life.
