The Ministry of Economic Affairs, Labour and Housing of Baden-Württemberg, the regional councils, and the bodies responsible for regional planning in Baden-Württemberg intend to establish a state-wide Geoportal Spatial Planning Baden-Württemberg. A key objective in setting up the geoportal is to provide user-oriented products, processes, and services as part of the GDI-BW in an open, service-based infrastructure. The Geoportal Spatial Planning BW serves to fulfill the INSPIRE Directive and the (future) State Geodata Access Act (LGEoZG) for the
area of spatial planning.
The core of the Geoportal Spatial Planning Baden-Württemberg comprises the State Development Plan (LEP), the regional plans of the bodies responsible for regional planning, and, in part, the Automated Spatial Planning Register (AROK) of the Higher Spatial Planning Authorities at the regional councils. The data is to be made centrally and easily accessible via the Internet for various target groups.
The companies terrestris and reichert+partner from Tübingen were commissioned to create the portal. Today, the contract was signed in the Ministry of Economic Affairs in Stuttgart. terrestris is looking forward to a good collaboration with all parties involved.
