From the arrival and booth setup on Tuesday to the final presentations and teardown on Friday – nearly four days full of exciting conversations, interesting talks, and memorable moments are behind us. The cherry blossoms on campus gave us a sense of home, and the many familiar faces enhanced the friendly atmosphere even further. At the same time, we were able to make numerous new connections and gain exciting insights.

About 1,000 participants (allegedly exactly 998) demonstrated on-site how vibrant and diverse the FOSSGIS community is.

Our stand was a real meeting point for exchange – people quickly found themselves in conversations and almost missed the next presentation 😄.

There was also a lot going on away from the actual event: evening visits to pubs and a visit to the meeting of the Masterportal implementation community rounded off the time in Göttingen perfectly.
