The Geoportal Spatial Planning Baden-Württemberg, which was developed by terrestris, among others, is now activated.

“The State Secretary in the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure, Gisela Splett, gives the go-ahead for the activation of the Geoportal Spatial Planning Baden-Württemberg. This portal will allow users to access textual and cartographic content related to spatial planning in the state for the first time in a comprehensive manner. Questions such as: What does the land use plan say about my residential area? Is my house located in a formally designated redevelopment area, so that I might be able to apply for modernization grants? can be answered in the portal – without having to visit the authorities. Even municipalities that do not have a geographic information system could use this portal to offer their citizens the service of viewing designations of building planning law. The portal is aimed not only at technically affected administrations and planning authorities, but also at the business community and the interested public. It is still in a content development phase, so technically transferable plans are not available from all parts of the state. The plans of some municipalities or older regional plans have only been partially recorded. ”
