The kick-off event for GeoSUMMER 2016 will take place on June 2, 2016, from 6:00 p.m. – 9:30 p.m. at the Haus der Bildung, Mülheimer Platz 1, Bonn.

The theme of the kick-off event is: “Agenda 2030 for Sustainable Development – What does it mean for the Geoinformation Industry?”

This year, two international geo-conferences will be guests in Bonn. In addition to the European Association of Remote Sensing Laboratories (EARSel), the Conference on Free and Open Source Software for Geospatial (FOSS4G) will take place in Bonn from August 24 to 26, 2016.

Till Adams, Managing Director of terrestris GmbH & Co. KG and Chair of FOSS4G 2016, will present FOSS4G 2016 in Bonn in a lecture at the kick-off event on June 2, 2016 at 6.15 p.m.

Registrations for the 6th GeoDIALOG – Kick-off event for GeoSUMMER 2016 will be accepted until May 25, 2016 by the City, Office for Economic Development, Real Estate and Tourism.
