The Integrated Landslide Early Warning System – ILEWS project, in which terrestris was a project partner, is an award winner in the nationwide innovation competition “365 Places in the Land of Ideas”. The “Germany – Land of Ideas” initiative and Deutsche Bank have been awarding prizes since 2006 to the best ideas and projects that contribute to Germany’s future viability. The whole thing is under the patronage of the Federal President.

On September 27, 2011, the award ceremony was held at the Geographical Institute of the University of Bonn by representatives of the “Germany – Land of Ideas” initiative and Deutsche Bank. Afterwards, the results of the work were presented in a small exhibition, and the ILEWS project was presented to the media and the public.
