From March 18 to 25, 2018, concurrently with this year’s FOSSGIS 2018, the OSGeo Codesprint will also take place at the Basecamp in Bonn. The indoor and outdoor retro park with unusual caravans and sleeping cars has already proven its worth with its nostalgic flair at FOSS4G 2016.
Approximately 90 developers from all over the world are expected to work on various exciting projects. The Codesprint is a good opportunity for developers to get in touch with the main people responsible for the respective projects and thereby gain a deeper insight. Anyone who would like to participate in the OSGeo Code Sprint is cordially invited to do so. Registration at: OSGeo Code Sprint.
The following projects can be worked on during the OSGeo Codesprint, among others:
- GRASS GIS
- QGIS
- react-geo
- GeoExt
- MapServer
- pgRouting
- OSGeo Live
- OSGeo Europe
The OSGeo General Assembly will take place on Monday, March 19, 2018, starting at 6 p.m. There will be an approximately two-hour discussion about OSGeo topics and everyone is welcome to participate in the General Assembly.
From terrestris, in addition to our Managing Director Marc Jansen and Project Manager Uli Rothstein, the developers Andreas Schmitz, Nils Bühner, Daniel Koch, Kai Volland and Johannes Weskamm will also participate in the Codesprint. We are looking forward to an exciting hacking event in Bonn with many interesting encounters.
