terrestris is involved in the BMBF-funded project “Integrated Water Resources Management: Model Region Mongolia (MoMo)”, which will run from 2015 to 2018.

On September 26 and 27, 2017, a transfer conference will take place in Ulan Bator, on the occasion of which a delegation from the German funding body and many guests from Asian countries are expected. During the 2 workshop days, discussions will be held on how the results from MoMo can be sustainably implemented in Mongolia and other Asian countries. A central role in integrated water resources management in Mongolia is played by the geoportal created by terrestris (see image below), in which all relevant data has been collected.

In the geoportal, maps are created that are printed in an open ring binder as an atlas or management plan. This concept enables easy updating of the individual contents. From the week after next, further information on the activities in Mongolia will be available here.
