Software Developer (focus on WebGIS)

We develop customized WebGIS applications for our customers using open source software. We aim to keep pace with the rapid development on the web and thus be able to present our customers with appealing, innovative solutions. Flexibility, standard conformity and simple user guidance are the main focuses in the planning and implementation of our thematically broad applications, which we implement for private and public clients.

You have a degree from a university or a comparable qualification in computer science, geoinformatics, geomatics, or geography. You already have experience with web development, especially with JavaScript and at least one other server-side language (JAVA, PHP, Python, Ruby, etc.). Ideally, you are even familiar with the standards of the OGC and other web-relevant organizations.

Knowledge of SQL dialects as well as explicitly geographic libraries / software packages such as OpenLayers, GeoExt, UMN Mapserver, Geoserver, PostgreSQL/PostGIS, MapFish or QGIS are a clear advantage, but not a mandatory requirement for employment.
