We are looking to fill a full-time (40 hours/week, permanent) Software Developer (focus on web) position at our company headquarters in Bonn as soon as possible.

We develop customized WebGIS applications for our customers using Free and Open Source Software. We strive to keep pace with the rapid development on the web and thus be able to present our customers with appealing, innovative solutions. Flexibility, standard conformity, and simple user guidance are the main focuses in the planning and implementation of our thematically broad-based tasks, which we implement for private and public clients.

• Full-stack development of modern web applications
• Basic development of Free and Open Source Software
• Conceptual design and implementation of sophisticated web solutions

Your profile

• Solid programming experience
• Knowledge of JavaScript (client- and server-side)
• Knowledge of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, REST, XML, JSON
• Knowledge of a server-side programming language
• Knowledge of version control and build tools such as Git, Maven, npm, Jenkins
• Good knowledge of German

Preferred qualifications

• University degree in computer science (or similar) or comparable practical experience
• Knowledge of explicitly geographic libraries / software packages such as OpenLayers, GeoServer, PostGIS, QGIS, etc.
• Knowledge of OGC standards such as WMS, WFS, WMTS, FE, SLD, etc.
