Since November 1, 2016, terrestris has been reinforced in the area of project management. We are pleased about our new employee and colleague Urlich Rothstein, who has been known at terrestris for a long time.

Ulrich Rothstein has more than 15 years of experience in project management, the development of geodata infrastructures and system architecture. He is co-founder and developer of the open source software Mapbender and, together with his teams, has integrated the open source components into state and federal authorities as well as corporate structures such as large energy suppliers and transport companies in recent years.

As a member of FOSSGIS e.V., Ulrich Rothstein was also able to demonstrate his organizational talent in hosting this year’s FOSS4G Conference (Free and Open Source Software for Geospatial) from August 24-26, 2016 at the World Conference Center in Bonn. He was on the organizing team and the conference was a complete success for everyone involved.
