OpenLayers, the original open source web mapping library, continues to have increasing user numbers and an active developer community. In this presentation, we will show not only new but also well-known useful functions, as well as exciting application possibilities that arise from the combination with other libraries.

ol-mapbox-style, Proj4js, PMTiles, GeoStyler, FlatGeobuf, Turf – these are just some of the libraries that can be used with OpenLayers, expand its functionality, or make working with it more convenient. We want to show this concretely using a few examples. We will also take a look at what OpenLayers itself can do. We will not only discuss news from recent years, but also lesser-known things that go beyond pure web mapping functionality.
