Birds of a Feather Sessions speak volumes.
Six of us traveled to Spain on Sunday, September 5. At 5:00 p.m. we flew from Cologne/Bonn and already met familiar faces at the airport: Astrid Emde, Christoph Baudson and Toni Pignaro from the Bonn-based company Wheregroup (known primarily from the Mapbender project) and Christian Willmes (University of Cologne) were also on their way to FOSS4G.
Barcelona has charm, which quickly becomes clear to anyone who visits the city. Interesting and diverse architecture, relaxed 28°C and many people on the move. We already like Catalonia’s capital after only a few hours.
The conference doesn’t start for us until Tuesday, today we will continue to explore the city and enjoy the time on the Mediterranean.
