Yesterday, November 1st, 2020, our new online platform On-A-Map was launched.
On-A-Map is the complete hosting solution for your own interactive map applications on the web.
Together with meggsimum, we conceived this idea and implemented it together.
Based on established open source technologies (Masterportal, OpenLayers, nginx, etc.), On-A-Map offers contemporary web maps that allow you to present and explore geodata for your region, city, municipality, or association. All common functionalities such as localization of your own location, measuring tools, or marking tool are already included. A background map and queryable thematic content bring your region closer to your visitors. The interactive map can be used on mobile devices such as smartphones as well as on a classic PC.
On-A-Map offers the optimal solution for anyone who cannot or does not want to operate their own web map applications and the underlying infrastructure. We take care of everything else, such as hosting, maintenance, and updates of software and data.
