After a hearty breakfast, the 1st day of the codesprint was able to begin early in the morning. First, the terrestris data center was set up here in Palma de Mallorca.

After minor WLAN problems with the new Ubuntu distribution were resolved, the lively work could begin.
After wild installation rounds, which sometimes took longer and sometimes shorter, the most diverse subject areas and projects can now be examined by the individual developers in the coming days (excerpt):
- ExtJS 4 with GeoExt
- Map rendering with Mapnik
- Map service acceleration with various software
- Symfony 2 in connection with ExtJS
- QGIS Server
- TinyOWS
- Java-based sensor data processing with SOS
- GeoServer Rest-API
- Version control with git
In addition, a first commit has already been made in OpenLayers and the mobile mapping framework GXM has been moved to github.

In the next few days, we will present more detailed results here.
At the end of the first sprint day, Till Adams spoiled us with a self-cooked menu and we ended the evening in a convivial atmosphere.
