Since the beginning of May 2011, terrestris has been a member of the Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC). The OGC is the standardization body for geodata and geodata services. After some consideration, this was a logical step for us, as terrestris is increasingly operating in an international and collaborative framework due to the nature of its projects. Through this membership, terrestris now has the opportunity to participate in discussion processes and learn in advance which direction standards are moving. This will enrich our daily work, which will ultimately benefit our customers.
