It is with great regret that we have received the news that this year’s FOSS4G (Free and Open Source Software for Geospatial) will be canceled. The reason for the decision is the lack of financial commitments and an unexpected withdrawal of the congress planner. We thank the organizing committee for their work so far and accept this courageous step.

FOSS4G is the international meeting place for the free and open source GIS industry, where terrestris has always been represented with presentations in recent years. We are all the more looking forward to the upcoming FOSS4G 2013, which will be held in Nottingham, England.
